Flatiron Steakhouse, located in the quaint village of Red Hook, is a casual restaurant and bar focusing on local ingredients and fine wines and liquor. The menu offers steaks, seafood and a unique burger selection.

Foster's Coach House Tavern, originally called "The Village Tavern," was built by Walter Decker in 1890. Wally Foster bought the Tavern after World War II and rebuilt the interior as it still remains today. Unique horse stalls serve as dining booths and famous racing pictures and bits cover the walls.

Jen and Joe Stokes proprietors of J & J Gourmet Café & Catering had a dream over 17 years ago. They wanted to bring a Café to the community where area residents could sit and stay awhile. They also envisioned offering unmatched catering services. Their dream has arrived!

Chef-owner of Le Pavillon Restaurant, Claude Guermont, was born in Normandy, France. At the age of 14 he began his culinary apprenticeship at the Hotel de Ville in Avranche. After completeing his apprenticeship, Claude continued to work in France with top Chefs in Paris and on the French Riviera. In 1971 Claude moved to the United States and in 1977 became the Chef-Instructor at the Escoffier Restaurant of the Culinary Institute of America. In December of 1980 Chef Guermont opened Le Pavillon Restaruant in Poughkeepsie, NY. Additionally, Claude Guermont is co-author of the award winning cookbook “The Norman Table”.

Many ingredients come straight from the nearby Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market, and specials du jour are usually modern takes on old favorites. No wonder satisfied diners exclaim,"Formidable!"

Luna has been serving organic vegetarian food to the Hudson Valley for over ten years. In our new location in Tivoli, NY we will continue to provide wholesome and hearty food to an enlightened crowd. Luna’s cuisine, defined by it’s use of locally grown organic fruits and vegetables, are able to satisfy a variety of palettes.,/P>

Taking you back to life in the late 1700s, when our founding farmers enjoyed a cool draught over hot discussions at the tavern and shared a feast with fellow town folk in front of the open hearth. For two centuries Stissing House has hosted visiting dignitaries and locals for private dinners, politicians for election debates and celebrated the marriages of the sons and daughters of beautiful Dutchess County. Most early American gathering spots have vanished, making The Stissing House, open since 1782, America's oldest and longest operated restaurant. Today, managed by French-American restauranteurs, Michel & Patricia Jean, Stissing House is enjoying a renaissance and has once again found itself at the social center of life in Pine Plains and its surroundings.
