About the Library:

The Clinton Library was founded in 1965 and provided service as a reading room until 2003 when it was given a provisional charter status. The library is part of the Town Hall and Justice Court complex, situated on eight acres with an adjacent nature trail. Parking is free and abundant.

The library has 8000 volumes, including a comprehensive children’s collection and a basic reference collection.

The Clinton Community Library is home to the Maple Hill Farm Children’s Literature Festival, an annual celebration of children’s literature written by area authors and illustrators. Authors, illustrator, storytellers and animals take over the library once a year for this annual celebration.

The library offers a broad complement of community programming including a book discussion group (Monday Night Club), adult computer training, and a monthly movie night. It provides children’s programming throughout the year including weekly preschool story hour, a monthly program for home schoolers, and three weeks of summer day camp free to residents. Check our program calendar or call the library at 845-266-5530 for information.
