Sisters Hill Farm is in nearby Sandfordville NY. I am so excited that we are able to partake in the 2008 season. Harvey and I waited a year,we downloaded the membership in 2007. From the Ground Upis a delightful blog belonging to Sisters Hill Farm,a real enticement to join.
The 2008 Rhinebeck Farmer's Market will be open Sundays and now Thursdays!!!!!!!.The opening day will be Mother's Day,Sunday May 11. The Thursday opening date will be May15. The Rhinebeck Farmer's Market is located in the Rhinebeck Municipal Parking lot. The hours on Sunday are 10am - 2pm and the hours on Thursdays are 3pm- 7pm. Spring seems to be the time of year when you think Home – that place in the country perhaps Rhinebeck,NY. I’ll start looking in the real estate section and see what pops out. I ask you- What's happening in your backyard? The bird feeder in these photos were given to my husband as a gift by a special person. Harvey had discussed with this individual that the squirrels were always eating from the bird feeder. Problem solved in Rhinebeck, NY. In late May, we had a black bear at the bird feeder (see earlier blogs) sorry no picture. Today we have deer at the bird feeder. Yes there are birds, however the Woodpeckers prefer the suet on the near by tree. Fortunately we have enough food for all, even the squirrels. Read more
